Main Description

Multiple roles and hours are possible, including bank staff.

Primary role hours 4-7pm 3-5 days per week.
10% additional pay for weekends.

All family members (2 adults, 1 teenager, 2 older children) are on the autistic spectrum. We also have an elderly dog and a baby grandson who is part of our lives.

Your duties would include picking up children from school, preparing dinner, cleaning the kitchen and other housework, administrative tasks, preparing the family for the following day (e.g. uniforms). Also sometimes supporting the employer in work activities as a researcher and leisure activities alone and with family.

You must be very highly organised, learn new systems quickly and follow them to the letter, have impeccable personal boundaries and understanding of the difference between supporting autonomy and taking over decisions - including as that applies to supporting disabled parents. You should be comfortable with technology and using apps for list making, communication and organisation.

For the right person, this can be an interesting, varied and active role that is not your standard care job.
