To buddy my 18 yr old son with Aspergers and OCD. This young man has good vocabulary and sense of humour. He is at college doing art/photography and life skills. A very capable you man but one who needs support with socialising or a young person to “hang out” with. Work includes days out ie. Trafford Centre/Stoke bowling or watch a film/hang out/Wii Sports at home. Hours to be flexible (to able to commit to more hours and afternoon work in college holiday periods). Driver preferred.
As above. Preferably a young person so that the PA relates more like a “mate” than a carer.
We do have a family dog who is not part of the work.
A driver is preferred in order to give greater flexibility.
Some knowledge of Aspergers and/or High Functioning Autism preferred.
Some knowledge of OCD an advantage.
