Reliable, organised, independent support workers for busy autistic family with assorted kids and pets. Sense of humour essential. Ability to be in two places at once an asset. Smooth social skills not required.
This is not your usual care job.
Currently hiring for several positions. Intensive prompting needed throughout the work shift as well as help with household duties, paperwork, outings, child and pet care.
1. MORNINGS 7:30-9:00am. Help get the kids off to school and make sure my plans and supplies for the day are in order. This may include making sure forms and books are with the right people, preparing packed lunches, general tidying, and prompting to get through each step of the morning routine.
2. EVENINGS 3:00-7:30pm. School runs, getting tea on, housework, sorting out things for the next day.
3. WEEKENDS 7:30am-7:30pm or 9:00am-3:00pm. Prompting and support throughout the day to make sure I get things done, interact with family, organise possessions. Accompanying on outings. Assistance with paperwork, making plans, meal plans, cooking. Starting from £12 per hour for this position.
4. BANK STAFF. Sickness and holiday cover, plus extra for appointments and events during the week.
