Support Worker / Personal Aide to help 18 year old male powered wheelchair user to obtain some independence with everyday tasks. Some basic housekeeping activities, help access social activities. aiding him in work/voluntary placement and hobbies, mild physiotherapy (training provided) and other personal care needs as necessary.
Understanding of autism, physical disabilities and learning disabilities an advantage.
Driver not essential but desirable. All shifts where driving is required the driver must adhere to insurance criteria for Motability Cars.
Reliable and flexible
Several positions available to cover range of shifts. Shifts flexible to accommodate persons other commitments. Length of shifts vary from 1 hour to 5 hours majority being 3 hours. Shifts normally scheduled 1 month in advance.
