  • Employment History

I have built up extensive experience across a variety of care settings. I previously worked as a Personal Assistantsupporting a man who uses a wheelchair, providing one-to-one assistance with daily living, mobility, appointments and community access.

Alongside this, I worked for several care agencies in a range of residential care homes, supporting older adults with personal care, medication support, and daily activities. This agency work allowed me to gain experience with different needs, environments and care approaches before moving into a full-time care role.

I am currently employed by Chester Council, where I support adults with learning disabilities. My role focuses on promoting independence, safety and inclusion while providing person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs.

  • Job Related Training & Education

I have completed a wide range of training through Chester Council, giving me a strong and up-to-date foundation for safe, high-quality care. This includes medication administration, first aid, and many other essential areas of care and support.

All of my training is updated yearly and is fully up to date, ensuring that I follow the latest best practices and safety standards. I have also completed training in safeguarding, moving and handling, health and safety, infection control, and supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs.

About me

I am an experienced, reliable and compassionate care professional with many years’ experience supporting older people and individuals with learning disabilities. I am currently employed by Chester Council part time, where I provide ongoing support to people with learning disabilities, helping them to live as independently, safely and confidently as possible.

My previous background in elderly care has given me a strong understanding of dignity, respect, safeguarding and person-centred support. I am confident in assisting with daily living tasks, emotional support, companionship, and helping people to access their community and activities they enjoy.

I currently work to a set rota, so any PA work I agree to would need to fit around this. I am dependable and able to adapt where possible to meet individual needs. I also hold a full UK driving licence and have my own vehicle, which means I can support with transport, appointments, shopping and social outings.

I take pride in being patient, friendly and trustworthy, and I aim to build positive, respectful relationships with the people I support. I am passionate about helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
