Summary
Recently retired from professional career in Technical Textiles and ventured into part time working with children. Have completed HAF sessions with Port Vale Foundation using multi sports skills to group and exercise young children in attendance. Successfully acheived level 1 multi sports certificate through PVF. Gained 2 months experience in a residential childrens home.
I have 15 years experience of adoption, attachment, trauma, ADHD, FASD, MLD, Dyspraxia and challenging behaviour in children.
I have been a volunteer since 2022 at Alsager Swans where I am a swimming instructor for disabled children and adults in the pool using the Halliwick concept and philosophy. I have attended and passed the Halliwick 4day Foundation Course in Rhonda, South Wales. (October 2025).
I hold a Level 2 certificate in Safeguarding.
