I worked at Khula Natural Health Care Centre (KNHC) as a clinician, supervising internship students from both the University of Johannesburg and Durban University of Technology. KNHC is a rural Homoeopathic clinic in Northern KwaZulu Natal South Africa. Consequently, from 2019 until December 2025 I have gained patience, listening accurately to others, responding to the feelings and need of others. I also learnt to be honest, trustworthy, to make thoughtful analysis, to be alert and to be in a good mind and to apologize when in the wrong. My duties as a clinician included supervising the students’ clinic work consisting of patient interviews, prescription of the medication, patient management, time management, physical examination and review of Anatomy and physiology, patient management and good conduct. I also have experience looking after my 80-year-old grandmother who was terminally ill; I was providing help with daily activities, such as companionship, meal preparation, medication management and personal care. In all these roles, I developed skills and qualities such as communication, teamwork, listening skills and being empathetic. I am willing to learn new things and grow. I am passionate about encouraging wellbeing, independence, dignity as well as provide a safe and comfortable environment.
Working at Fusion Homoeopathics as a dispenser (December 2016 – February 2018), I learnt the laboratory skills such as accuracy, efficiency, precision and making orders. Working as a tutor at the University of Johannesburg in the department of Homoeopathy (February 2016 – December 2017), dealing with students (mainly 4th years) individually (patient individualising) helped me understand them and devise ways of dealing with their personal problems. Moreover, I assisted them with their academic work.
