    Personal Assistant/ Senior Team member
    The North West Care Co-operative company – Chester – Chester
    October 2021 to Present
    P.A/ Team leader- social care and supporting adults with learning disabilities.
    Supporting adults social, emotional, and physical needs, whilst maintaining their independence, choice
    and control. Support to access the community, clubs, groups and socialising.
    Liaising with hospital staff, other P.A’s, district nurses, social workers and Housing Association. Also,
    where appropriate, their families, to work as part of a team, together on person centred care packages.
    I was promoted to team leader in October 2022, running a small team-
    As with above, I also, organise rotas, staff holiday/ illness cover and planning for the client’s needs on a
    daily basis. Medical appointments, Medication distribution , updating and reviewing care plans. Making
    sure the clients need are met, emotionally and physically, for their wellbeing.
    NB. I came over to NWCC as part of a new service user’s team from Direct Payment in Jan ’22

    PA/Support Worker
    Direct Payments – Chester
    September 2021 to December 2023
    I worked with a lady who has learning difficulties and bipolar. I supported this lady with daily living,
    accessing the community, support at day centres and clubs, shopping and meeting with friends. I supported with personal
    care, med distribution, medical appointments and liaising with other PA’s, doctors and housing. I looked
    after bills and financial budgeting for this lady and general administration of her household.
    I transferred over to NorthWest Care Co-operative as part of Sally’s team in January ’22

    Personal Assistant – dementia care
    Self employed – Chester
    August 2020 to September 2021
    I worked privately for an elderly lady who had vascular dementia.
    My duties included all aspects of personal care, med distribution, moving and handling, meal preparation,
    companionship, accessing the community, appointments etc and shopping. Also, liaising with doctors,
    social services and care companies, all to create a well rounded care package.
    My passion in life is for people to receive good quality care enabling them to live independently in their
    own homes and enhancing their lives.

    My Little Vintage Company – Chester
    June 2013 to August 2020
    I started a small business which I ran, part time, from home. I decided to start this business, so I could
    be more flexible, around my little boy and childcare.
    I made children’s giftware, which I sold online, Internationally.
    I looked after my own financial records and accounts. Marketing, Social Media, stock rotation, postage,
    shipments and PayPal accounts.
    Customer services is very important to me, and a key point for your own business. Handle every customer
    with care, patience and understanding, remain calm and communicate clearly. This attitude has kept my
    customers coming back time and time again.
    Also, during this period, I worked within a Junior school, teaching Arts and Crafts to the children, 3 times
    a week.

    Assistant Office Manager for a busy online sales company.
    My main duties were Data Input, Filing, Invoicing, Marketing and running Social Media sites.
    Packaging orders. Telephoning, emailing, meeting with customers, keeping them up to date with order
    progression and shipments. The ethos was, the Customer is always right, and I would go above and
    beyond to create this customer satisfaction.
    I had experience using Magento systems, Amazon, eBay and website selling avenues.

    Healthcare Support worker/P.A- direct payments – Vulnerable Adult.
    Working with a young man who had physical disabilities and learning difficulties.
    Providing all aspects of personal care, including wound dressing, trained by tissue viability nurses.
    Moving and handling and medication distribution. Liaising with GP’s, Social services, Housing Association,
    DWP to create a care package and supportive network.
    Organising and ordering prescriptions. Financial help, budgeting and companionship. All to help him
    remain independent in his own home.

    May 2005 to February 2007
    Healthcare Support worker/P.A- caring for the elderly and young adults.
    Working both with people who have physical disabilities and learning difficulties. Providing all aspects of
    personal care including mental well-being. Domestic help, shopping, medication distribution and ordering
    prescriptions.
    Financial help, budgeting and companionship. All to help them remain independent in their own homes.
    During this employment I was key worker for 3 service users. Specialising in Dementia, high functioning
    Autism and a lady who was registered as blind.

    Office Administration/PA to CEO –
    Working in a small Steel Industry business, liaising with International clientele.
    My main roles were data input, customer service, both face to face, and over the telephone.
    Filing, invoicing, email correspondence and sorting daily postage and shipments.

I am very kind by nature and my skills lie within health and social care roles.
My passion is caring for, listening to and communicating with people. Supporting, enhancing and helping people to
live independent, happy lives.
I’ve worked in health and social care for over 20 years and I’m very focused on person centred care.
I communicate well with everyone, making sure their needs are catered for.
I’m honest and hard working. I am keen to learn new skills, I have a real thirst for knowledge and I
adapt well to new situations.
I work well under pressure, using my own initiative and also, as part of a team.
