In the past I have been involved with fund raising for a local special needs school. This involves organising and arranging events such as: quiz nights, murder mystery evenings, pamper parties and charity cycle events. Events which have achieved the goal and secured the purchase of a brand new specialist mini bus for the school. I also enjoy walking, swimming and cycling in my leisure time.

I am a mature and hard working person. I take pride in whatever I do and do it to the best of my ability. My experiences have been considerably varied, Comprising of many different duties and skills. I am therefore a flexible person who is able to communicate well. I believe I would be an ideal candidate for this position because many of the skills required I preform on a daily basis supporting people with special needs in every part of their lives including cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene.
