About me

As an empathetic, caring and conscientious individual, with a wide variety of experience, I am at home in care and support roles. My enthusiasm lends me the ability to inspire and motivate others. As I am genuinely warm and interested in people, I find it easy to form relationships with clients and their families, co-workers and healthcare professionals. My work in the health and social care sector has made me conscientious and methodical with strong conflict resolution, patience, and communication skills. A strong advocate for person-centred care, I always take the time to get to know each individual and tailor my approach to their needs, wishes and preferences.

I have worked with elderly service users with challenging behaviours and dementia, general elderly care and end of life. I have also supported young adults with autism, sight impairments and blindness, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, chronic conditions such as M.E and challenging behaviours.
