  • Employment History

2002 – current – Royal Mail, Northwich Delivery Office, Meadow Street, Northwich Cw9 5AA ( Part time)

Since 2012 I have been part of the collection team which involves bulk mail collections from businesses, boxes and post offices. As the Communications Workers Union (CWU) local representative, I have worked with the management to facilitate unit revisions, improve site performance, assist with confidential staffing matters and negotiate local agreements. Prior to this I was on delivery which also included inside, admin duties:- management support, front counter cover and locker work in the secure area.

Reason for leaving : wear and tear. The job involves regular heavy lifting and I would like to concentrate on care/support work which I have been doing since 2012.

    Care/Support work for private clients
As a cleaner/carer I have worked with clients assisting with general household tasks such as changing beds, washing and cleaning. Trips to the supermarket, barbers and general time outside of the home have also been part of my remit. My clients have included a terminally ill lady and currently a dementia client.

About me

Not afraid to use my initiative, I believe in treating clients as I would like to be treated myself. It’s the small things that make the difference.
