I am looking for a part time Support worker/personal assistant for my son Owen. I have attached the advert below and wonder if you may be interested in finding out more about the job if you have not already found employment.

The Employer is a young man in his 30s living in Waverton, Chester, with a passion for all sport, especially watching and talking football, playing badminton, tennis, snooker and darts as well as other interests such as gardening, walking, cinema, drinks with friends and meals out. He is keen to extend his social circle and make new friends. He has some issues with learning and co-ordination that affect his confidence and make him cautious.

A new PA is required to support, encourage and challenge the employer through a wide range of weekly activities. This will give him the opportunity to develop his self-confidence and increase his ability to manage independently in the outside world.

20 hours per week to be worked flexibly with an emphasis on Saturdays and weekday afternoons and evenings.
Dates and hours to be mutually agreed with the Employer.

Job Share may be considered.
Pay rate £11.00 per hour.
Holiday Entitlement 5.6 weeks per year.

Driver with own car preferred but not essential.
DBS required, cost met by employer.
Training Provided.
