I require an enthusiastic and caring individual to assist my severely disabled 16 year old daughter. She is wheelchair and adult dependant.
This role will offer the chance for the right person to help support with assisting in feeding, bathing, dressing, taking to appointments and on fun packed days out.
You must be a driver (unfortunately over the age of 25 for insurance purposes) and able to work well as part of a team. You will always be working alongside another member of my daughters team.
Experience of working with children and young people in community setting is desirable and a Level 2 in Direct Patient Care/Nursery Nurse or working towards NVQ. Training will be given to enable personlised care and support.
A DBS will be paid for by the employer.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE – ALL WILL BE AGREED IN ADVANCE
2 Saturdays per month, hours will vary, minimum 6 hour shift, to be agreed in advance
2 Thursday evenings per month, 6pm-9pm, for wheelchair dancing
5 hours, 11-4pm, one day a week, during all school holidays except the Christmas Break, days will be flexible but agreed in advance
Hourly pay rate is £10.50 per hour
