We ae currently looking for a Support Worker / Personal Assistant to support a vulnerable 39yr old lady with Asperger’s & moderate learning difficulties, providing help with personal care; developing skills for independent living and ensuring personal safety whilst providing encouragement and companionship.
The lady is sociable, lively, and determined; enjoys art, music reading & cinema. She does a lot of work in the voluntary sector, promoting disability issues, and contributes to training sessions for nurses and social workers at local Universities. She attends Advocacy Group meetings in Chester (and online). She is also involved with creating “easy read” documents for people with disabilities.
Car driver essential as we are in a rural location (near Delamere Forest)
DBS check will be required
We have funding for 23hrs a week to be worked over 3 or 4 days depending on availability.
£15.00 per hour
