Bank Staff Support Worker required.

The client is a very happy endearing young man who is 29 years old and lives in the family home. The client has cerebral palsy, controlled epilepsy, and scoliosis. He is non-verbal but very vocal and sociable, a physiotherapist is involved to support the client and full training will be given in order that you are able to support him fully with his physio. He is dependent on others to meet all his personal care needs.

Overview of role:
You will work alongside support workers to support this young man with all his personal care needs, feeding, administrating medication.

You will also support this young man with his daily activities and help to plan social events/days out/holidays ensuring his safety at all times.

This is a strong family unit it is essential you can be adaptable to working in an home environment, the young man also has pets so you must be an animal lover.

2-3 days per week 11am - 7pm then cover required for holidays/sickness which will include some sleeps and weekends. Holidays are booked well in advance.

A fun, bubbly, confident and energetic support worker, who is flexible, adaptable and keen to learn. Prior experience within a care environment is essential. Full clean UK Driving licence is essential as you will be driving the clients wheelchair adapted vehicle. Non-smoker, no e- cigs. a good cook.
