Looking for a team of Personal Assistants to support a 13 year old boy with ASD in home and to access activities in the community alongside another PA on a 2:1 basis
Part time hours that can be varied and flexible to suit mutual needs. Weekday and weekend shifts will be available and also overnights.
To assist with helping him access activities at home and in the community.
Must have experience of working or living with autistic children or young adults, be reliable, flexible and caring, be physically fit and enjoy activities such as walking and swimming, having own transport with business insurance is an advantage, but not essential (45p per mile mileage allowance will be paid), must be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check (the cost of which will be covered by the employer), Rates of pay £12.21 per hour plus 5.6 weeks annual leave paid pro rata
