Job Description
Provide assistance with all aspects of personal care, including bathing, washing hair and dressing.
Helping in and out of bed with a hoist.
Preparing and cooking of meals. Serving and cutting food.
Assisting with shopping and other associated tasks (some lifting may be required).
Supporting with Physiotherapy exercises and mobilising.
Accompanying to appointments, social meetings and events.
Enabling to carry out any chosen activity, whether inside or outside home, by carrying out any other requests which I may reasonably make.
General domestic duties, undertaking cleaning and laundry.
Some driving of adapted van if I require to be taken somewhere.
The job involves all aspects of personal care so a female preferred. You will need to be reliable and flexible, enthusiastic and motivated, have a positive outlook and a good sense of humour! Be reliable and trustworthy, be able to accept responsibility, be able to work on your own and demonstrate initiative as necessary, have good basic hygiene, be willing to learn the job and undertake job-related training as identified, be flexible, have a sensitive/ caring nature, empathic and understanding, patient, be committed to the job.
You will be part of a dedicated team of carers.
