Job Description
We are looking for a reliable, personable and caring Female Personal Assistant to support, a friendly and sociable 38-year-old woman with learning difficulties.
About the Role:
You will play a key role in helping your client access her local community safely and confidently. Activities include visiting cafes, local shops, the library, and other places of interest from Monday to Saturday (hours to be discussed and agreed).
Your support will help maintain your client’s independence and build confidence. Developing a strong, trusting relationship with her is vital.
We are building a small team of carers, which means we can be flexible with hours and work around your availability. Whether you’re looking for regular hours or something more occasional, we’re open to discussion.
About You:
Kind, patient, and respectful
Female only please
Comfortable around dogs or open to learning
Reliable and communicative
Experience with learning disabilities or similar support needs is desirable but not essential
Any experience in Education or Health based roles would be desirable.
Option to be self employed and able to accept payment via the Local Authority
Must have access to a car
