Support Worker / Personal Assistant required to support a vulnerable 39yr old lady with Asperger’s & moderate learning
difficulties, providing help with personal care; developing skills for independent living. Ensuring personal safety whilst providing encouragement and companionship.

Car driver essential as we are in a rural location (near Delamere Forest) with poor public transport.
The lady is sociable, lively and determined; enjoys art, music reading & cinema. She does a lot of work in the voluntary sector, promoting disability issues, and contributes to training sessions for nurses and social workers at local Universities. She attends Advocacy Group meetings in Chester (and online). She has recently become involved with creating “easy read” documents for people with disabilities.
Subject to enhanced DBS check – employer to fund if necessary.
