Job Description

The role requires assistance with a wide variety of household activities, personal and clinical care.
Experience of care procedures will be required:
• Personal care
• Manual handling
• Hoisting
• Ventilator support (BiPAP)
• PEG
• Medication administration
• Cough-assist machine
• Nebuliser
• Meal prep
• Communication with health professionals
• Social outings

You will be supported in your role and full training will be provided.

Carer / Personal Assistant (PA) Wanted – Manchester M16

Part-time: Waking night 15 hours per week to be worked flexibly with other PA staff per week.
Bank staff: We are also looking for bank staff to help out when needed.

Personal Assistant (PA) required for disabled lady with a degenerative condition.

We are looking for the services of a kind and caring individual to support client with all aspects of her daily life including; personal and clinical care, social and domestic duties. You will be part of a 6 PA team.

Experience working in Complex Care preferable but not compulsory. Looking for a carer who has experienced working with someone requiring 24-hour Non-Invasive Ventilation and PEG assistance is desirable, but not essential as full training will be supplied.

The client lives in Manchester with her family. She is friendly and has a bubbly personality with an easy-going manner and a good sense of humour. She enjoys reading and going out to the cinema and theatre. She is a keen sports fan especially football. She likes to follow the soaps and watch crime dramas in her spare time. Her hobbies are history, politics, gardening and Tiktok.

The staff team is friendly and supportive. We’re looking for someone who has 2 year’s experience working in Care and has practical knowledge of care procedures such as personal care, hoisting and slings, manual handling, health and safety. Someone who is patient, caring and can learn on the job. Should be compassionate, kind, person centred, good listeners and have a good work ethic. Flexibility and sense of humour appreciated!

DBS check required and paid for by the employer.

£13.00 per hour day time rate /
£14.50 per hour night time rate
